1) MISSION OF MERCY 2025

This year, our Mission of Mercy is focused on bringing Christ’s love to the imprisoned. Several Morning Glories are already serving those behind bars—leading retreats, teaching Bible studies, and offering spiritual mentorship through ministries such as Kolbe Ministries, a Catholic apostolate. We will be supporting this effort, as well as providing books. 👉 Learn more about how you can minister to Jesus in the imprisoned through our 2025 Mission of Mercy: https://givebutter.com/MOM2025

2) PRIDE AND PREJUDICE Watch Party

We will watch two episodes per week of the 1995 “Pride and Prejudice” miniseries, starting this week. On Tuesday evenings, we'll gather for a lively Zoom discussion at 7 pm CT to explore the themes of vice and virtue from a Catholic perspective.

🗓 Discussion Dates

Dec. 2 — Episodes 1 & 2
Dec. 9 — Episodes 3 & 4
Dec. 16 — Episodes 5 & 6

I will email a Zoom link to all Locals Supporters. If you’d like to support this ministry and join in the conversation (thank you!), please visit kittycleveland.locals.com on a laptop or desktop to become a Supporter.

“The Way” and “The King of Love” by Kitty Cleveland, taking orders now!

✨ NOW AVAILABLE — Limited Edition Canvas Giclées ✨

I’m delighted to share two new paintings that are especially close to my heart.

“The Way” — completed just last night — portrays the worn stone stairs leading up to Calvary in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in the Holy Land, which I had the grace to climb in 2018.

“The King of Love” depicts the risen Lord Jesus, inspired by the beautiful visions of my friend Patricia “Pachi” Talbot of Ecuador. Many have told me that His eyes seem to follow them! 😍

My prayer is that these images strengthen, console, and accompany you on your own journey Home—one day, one step at a time—until we finally behold our Savior face to face.

Limited Edition Prints

Both paintings are now available as signed and numbered 8x10 canvas giclées, produced in limited quantities.

A Gratitude Rosary

I was so moved by this idea from the CFR Franciscans, and I’d like to incorporate it into my prayer time this week. How about you? Scroll to the 2nd photo.

7 Lessons from Whitewater Rafting
(or How to Remain at Peace When You Are Afraid), by Kitty Cleveland

7 Life Lessons from Whitewater Rafting
(or How to Remain at Peace When You’re Afraid)

by Kitty Cleveland

Years ago I joined some friends in a thrilling whitewater rafting excursion down the frigid Snake River in Jackson Hole, WY. I had rafted down the Nantahala River in North Carolina many times in the past (once getting trapped under the raft), and I’d even rafted this river before in a large raft. But this time was different.

This time I ended up being assigned the front of a little two-person duckie with a wisp of a woman steering in back. Seriously, I easily had about six inches and 60 pounds on her. I hollered out to our fearless leader on the big, safe raft next to us, "Shouldn't I be in the back of this thing?" She assured me that my strength would be needed to power through the danger up ahead. That's when I started praying. Lesson 1: ALWAYS ACKNOWLEDGE GOD FIRST.
